What we store
The mawqiei-currency cookie is saved only when you choose EUR, USD, or GBP. It expires up to one year after your most recent choice; page visits do not renew it. It applies throughout this website and uses SameSite=Lax; HTTPS deployments also use Secure. It contains a currency code, not your name or contact details.
Local storage
mawqiei-language stores your English or Arabic selection until cleared. Currency is stored only in the cookie. Legacy currency values in local storage are removed and are not used to restore expired cookies.
Automatic selection
On a first visit, the browser time zone suggests GBP for Europe/London, EUR for supported euro-area zones, and USD elsewhere. The suggestion is not saved. A saved selection takes priority. This is an approximation and does not verify your country or login location.
Your controls
Change currency and language in the navigation. To reset preferences, clear this website’s cookies and local storage in your browser settings. We do not use marketing or analytics trackers. Saving your currency selection serves the preference you request. External services can apply their own policies when you follow a link.
